Homes Sold in Mountainside, Phoenix AZ 85048

Sept: 2 houses closed in Mountainside.  1 for $132k which featured 3 bedrooms, 1200 square feet and built in 1988.  The other property sold for $159 with 1800 square feet with no pool.

Aug: 2 properties closed.  Both were under $150K; one located in the Cove and the other located in Newport; bank owned and sold in about 2 months.  Both homes sold below asking price. 

July: The most expensive property sold this community sold this month for $235K.  The property was built in 1990 and was a bank owned home.  The listed price was $234K.

June: 2 more homes closed.  Both near the same price range; 1 for $165k and the other for $168K.  The lower priced home featured a private pool, was a bank owned home and sold within 4 days.  The other house was a 2 story home with 1800 square feet and was a bank owned property as well.

May: 2 homes sold.  One sold for $175,000 and the other sold for $190,000.  The property that sold for $175K featured: 2 levels, 3 bedrooms, 2 bath with 1800 square feet.  The property was a short-sale and sold for asking price. The second property featured: 3 bedroom with 1400 square and a pool as well.  The property was a regular sale and sold within 2 months.

April: No real estate transaction closed this month.

March: The number of houses that closed this month increased to 3.  The prices ranged from $172K-220K.  The most affordable property was $172,000 with 1477 square feet.  The property was a short-sale.  The next property sold at $176,000, which was on the market for 2 days before receiving an offer.  The property closed just over list price and featured: 3 bedrooms, 2 bath with 1352 square feet on a corner lot.  The most expensive home was a two-level short-sale property with 4 bedrooms, 2 bath with just over 2000 square feet. 

Feb: One property sold at the Cove for $199,900.  The property features were: a single-level, 4 bedrooms, 3 bath, 2 car garage with 1800 square feet and built in 1989.  This property was a traditional sale. 

Jan: 1 home sold for $170,000 that was on the market for over 800 days.  It was a regular sale and the original listed price was $269,000.  The property was a 3 bedroom, 2 bath with 1400 square feet.  The property was built in 1990 and did not feature a pool.
